Because I don’t read Foucault (for the moment)
--
I have decided not to read the text by Foucault “ La naissance de la clinique”
The reasons are different.
Laziness, the text is full of historical references which I don’t want to poke at my head;
Language, clear and straightforward but articulated
Content, relatively interesting to me.
On the other hand, I think I took what interested me in the introduction and which I would like to learn more about. It is his methodological approach that looks to be very appealing. And, with a brief reference to the methodology he uses, F won. I’ll read it one day, not now.
For now, I get to know him with the videos on youtube. As Deleuze says, he has a look, gestures, a voice and a firm, decisive thought, like precise and punctual strokes.
I will read it, but not now.
